Why Manufactured or Modular Homes
Manufactured and modular homes offer a smart, modern alternative to traditional site-built housing.
Built with today's technology, materials, and design standards, these homes deliver quality, efficiency, and value—without compromising comfort or style.
Exceptional Value Without Sacrificing Quality
Manufactured and modular homes are typically more affordable than traditional site-built homes. Because they are constructed in a controlled factory environment, costs are predictable and efficient, helping homeowners get more home for their investment.
Built to High Standards
Today's manufactured homes are built to strict federal construction and safety standards, while modular homes must meet the same local building codes as site-built homes. Both options are engineered for durability, safety, and long-term performance.
Faster Build Time
Factory construction allows homes to be built more quickly than traditional homes. Weather delays are minimized, and many homes can be completed and ready for move-in in a fraction of the time.
Energy Efficient & Cost-Effective
Manufactured and modular homes are designed with energy efficiency in mind. Modern insulation, energy-efficient windows, and high-performance HVAC systems help reduce energy use and lower monthly utility costs.
Flexible Designs & Customization
Today's manufactured and modular homes offer a wide range of floor plans, styles, and finishes. From open-concept living spaces to modern kitchens and spa-like bathrooms, you can personalize your home to fit your lifestyle and budget.
Quality Construction in a Controlled Environment
Building indoors protects materials from weather exposure and allows for consistent quality control throughout the construction process. Each phase is inspected to ensure accuracy and craftsmanship.
Strong Investment & Long-Term Value
When properly installed and maintained, manufactured and modular homes can appreciate in value — especially when placed on owned land. They provide a practical path to homeownership without the high costs of traditional construction.
A Smart Choice for Today's Homebuyers
Whether you're a first-time buyer, downsizing, or looking for a custom home at an affordable price, manufactured and modular homes offer flexibility, reliability, and modern living solutions.
Types of Factory-Built Homes
Factory-built housing offers more options than ever before. Modular, CrossModular, and manufactured homes each provide unique benefits, design flexibility, and value—making it easier to find a solution that fits your lifestyle, budget, and long-term goals. Understanding the differences between these home types can help you choose the option that best meets your needs while delivering quality construction, efficiency, and modern comfort.
Modular Home
Modular homes are often indistinguishable from traditional homes once they are installed. They are built in a factory but to Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code, same as a site-built home. They are always placed on a permanent foundation and can be customized more easily. They include features like a garage, porch, pitched roof, and upgraded exterior. Modular homes are placed on a permanent foundation and qualify for standard mortgage financing and appraisals.
CrossModular Home
CrossModular homes are a hybrid between manufactured and modular homes, designed in a factory to meet HUD code standards but with features more like site-built homes. They are placed on a permanent foundation and might have a garage, porch, pitched roof, and upgraded exterior. They also qualify for standard mortgage financing and appraisals (unlike Manufactured Homes).
Manufactured Home
Manufactured homes are what most people think of as a "modern mobile home". They are factory-built homes constructed on a permanent steel chassis and built to the federal HUD Code (Housing and Urban Development) and must meet national standards for safety, energy efficiency, and durability. They can be placed on a temporary or permanent foundation.
